Vanity Fair magazine has dubbed the Purple Rain Soundtrack as the greatest soundtrack of all time. The editors explained that the Purple Rain Soundtrack has a combination of sounds that defined the 80’s although they had opposite views when it came to acting performances in the Purple Rain movie. This soundtrack tops a list of 50 selected by Vanity Fair editors to be included in a special publication titled "Movies Rock". It will feature the stars, directors and musicians who were a part of these movies. The publication is also scheduled to be released in conjunction with a TV special that is also titled “Movies Rock”. The TV special will air on CBS in December of this year.What is your greatest soundtrack of all time?
