Despite the cheese factor, 13 going on 30 allowed someone to do what is currently impossible. That is, giving someone a preview of their life before it happens. I did not have interest in watching this movie. However, CSI was not on and Jennifer Garner is a favorite, so 13 going on 30 is where I landed. In the movie, the girl gets to go back and make her life the way that she wants it. In reality, we do not get a preview of our lives. Surely, that would be something good, as it could prevent people from making a lot of mistakes that could have taken their lives in different directions.

Adults can only look back on their life and try to make changes for the present and the future. In the movie 13 going on 30, Jennifer Garner had a chance to go back in time and make changes at the point where everything went in a path that she would end up regretting in the future. If you are following this, it shouldn’t be too confusing. If it sounds confusing and you have not seen the movie, go rent it. We live in the real world, where we cannot go back and make changes to our lives in hopes for the outcome that we desire.

If only it were that easy, I would sit next to a doll house and chant repeatedly until I flash forward to age 40. That would definitely help me out a lot, as my decisions that are made today would be much easier.

Have you seen the movie 13 going on 30? If so, leave your thoughts about it , Jennifer Garner and going back in time below in the comments section.
