Voting in Film, Actors and their Audiences

There are three actors currently in the running for a spot as King Dong this month. They include Daniel Craig, Gerard Butler and Jeremy Renner. So, I’ll make this week’s Monday Movie Meme theme simple and easy: Poll the Jury.
Share on your blog, or in the comments section, movies where the main characters are involved in some aspect of the voting process. The film does not have to be centered on politics but there has to be some type of election or voting setup going on -- in the government, at a corporation, between a family, in a hospital, etc. If your responses are on your own blog, remember to link to this post and visit the blogs of other Monday Movie Meme participants. I loved Napoleon Dynamite. I'm trying to remember a voting scene I just saw in a film the other day. Damn memory! I watch a movie and then I forget it. Off hand I can't recall a film with a vote other than Twelve Angry Men, but I'll come back if I think of one.

In the movie The Family that Preys, there are some family/corporate issues that have to be resolved by a vote. A silent partner has to show up to vote and it surprises everyone who it is...well, almost everyone.
Wow! What timing! I just watched what I consider to be one of the greatest "super hero" movies ever made. It never got much publicity, causing it to fly under the radar. The wife and I picked it up last week and saw it this past weekend:
Chronicle: Takes place in the midst of a High School election. Honestly, check out this film if you get a chance.
Vantage Point: Fantastic Forest Whitaker vehicle.
The Manchurian Candidate: A mind-controlled candidate, and the man who must kill him
All The President's Men: It's funny how far reporters and reporting have fallen since those days
Black Sheep: Chris Farley at his best. I miss this man...
What about Ides of March and The Adjustment Bureau. Ryan Gosling and George Clooney wrapped up in shady campaign stuff and Matt Damon destined to be political greatness, but wants love, too. Apparently the two are mutually exclusive.
