Kanye West's Mother died....doctor is to blame?

Music rapper and producer Kanye West has been on the minds of many fans after the recent and sudden death of his mother, Donda West. Now, it seems that her doctor is at fault.

The media has been reporting on the death of Donda West and why she died. It was confirmed that it was due to multiple cosmetic surgical procedures that were a serious risk to her health. Of course, good doctors would not even perform risky surgery if they could potentially be fatal. However, people who are just after money and their own celebrity status are another story. It appears that the doctor who performed the surgery on Kanye West's mother has malpractice suits against him and is under investigation by the state medical board in California. This was all in motion even before the procedure that killed Donda West.

One important question is why wasn't there a second opinion about choosing this particular doctor? Maybe the answer lies in the fact that he has his own TV show and has also appeared on popular entertainment TV shows. This is not a doctor who is concerned about the health of his patients. This is a doctor who wants to be as rich and famous as the people he performs cosmetic surgery on. Donda West suffered as a result of this self-centered behavior. If you are going to to any major medical procedures, the health status of your patient should be considered first and foremost. The doctor, (Dr. Jan Adams to be exact) was probably considering how many
cars he could choose from using the payment from this deadly incident.

News reports indicate that Donda West died from surgical complications. However, the official cause of death does not appear to have bene released yet. Dr. Jan Adams claims that Kanye West's mother did not die from the surgery, but could have died from a heart attack or other occurrences. If he is so certain what could have caused her death, wouldn't he want to check first, before performing something that could cause this incident? Initially, after learning that another doctor would not perform these multiple procedures and warned Donda West about her health, I thought that maybe she wanted a second opinion and the doctor who gave her that did not do her any good.

However, in the end, every adult makes the decision about what to do with their own bodies when it comes to cosmetic surgery. If you know that you could have major health problems from getting certain procedures done and you do it anyway, you are putting yourself in a dangerous situation.

Who do think is at fault for this incident?

24 Season 7 Postponed by Fox...the WGA has done it!

The anticipation of this upcoming season of 24 had me very excited until recently. Fox has changed it's lineup due to the current strike by the Hollywood writers. The 7th season of 24 has been affected.

24 Season 7 has been officially postponed as noted in a press release sent out by Fox earlier this week. When the WGA went on strike, I understood their concerns and demands, but now it has gone too far. This has affected one of the best shows on television - 24 Season 7 and I am not too happy about it at all. What are TV fans supposed to watch? Dancing with the Stars? Get real. It looks like I will be making use of some DVDs in my collection during the New TV season after New Year's.

Apparently, the network does not have enough episodes completed for the entire season, which is "Day 7" and Fox officials want to present 24 Season 7 without interruptions. Although I do not like the fact that this TV show is being postponed, I do understand their concerns about playing one portion on January 13, 2008 (The Day that 24 Season 7 was Originally scheduled to premiere) and then the rest whenever they had a chance to finish the episodes. Not many TV professionals and fans alike would be satisfied with a half-ass TV show. I blame the writers in the WGA for this. It is all their fault. Hopefully, this strike will end soon and they can get all (or most at least) of what they are demanding from those who pay their salaries and royalties.

Now that I think about it, maybe this isn't the WGA's fault entirely. Maybe the blame should be placed on the TV executives who control the purse strings. If this is an accurate point of fault, there is a simple solution....pay the writers! Just pay them. It is a simple as that. So what if they want extra for online downloads, etc. because the current state of the TV industry proves that you cannot get much done without them. Therefore, stop taking all of the ancillary cash for yourselves and give the writers a piece of that action.

The drama, Prison Break will replace 24 on Mondays in the meantime.
I (and millions of other people around the nation) just want to watch season 7 of 24. That is not too much to ask.

P.S. I also heard that ABC's Ugly Betty only had one week's worth of episodes left before their show is put to a halt because of the writer's strike. Isn't it enough that the late night TV shows are airing reruns now? This strike is causing a mess.

What do you think about the WGA strike? Is it affecting any of your favorite TV shows? Leave your comments on this matter below in the comments section.

Murder Behind the Scenes on Law & Order: Criminal Intent?

This photo was published by deltacbravo (online profile name), a Biomedical/Electrical Engineering professional who is also seen here being strangled by actor Vincent D'Onofrio who plays Detective Robert Goren on Law & Order: CI (Criminal Intent).

deltacbravo wants to know if you can name the New York street where this photo was taken. If you think that you know, post your answer in the comment section below. Now my question is....how did this guy get on the set of Law & Order: CI? At first, I thought that he was a crew member, but after fidning out that he was a college student who was not majoring in film or any arts related subject, I found it interesting that he was able to take such a good photo with one of the stars of Law & Order: CI. That is just not fair.

Still, this is a good behind the scenes photo. It has a lot of humor in it and an eery depiction of the actuall TV show. The detective investigates murders and here he is trying to committ one. If you check out the guys wearing black on the far side of this photo, they look too serious for such a humorous behind the scenes image. Are they working on the show? Are they actors? Are they secret service people? Who knows.
