It’s time for another installment of the Monday Movie Meme. This week’s theme is all about the kind of danger that comes in small packages:Crazy Babies.
Some of you might be singing the Ozzy Osbourne song now but just put that aside for a minute, ok?! Now, share on your blog or in the comments section, movies featuring abnormal kids who wreak havoc on their environment, ultimately destroying people, places or things in it. Here are my selections for this week’s Crazy Babies meme.

Anyone who underestimates this computer generated little girl is in for a rude awakening. She intends to wipe out the entire human race, using bioweapons and other tricks up her sleeve in “Resident Evil: Retribution.”

This little motherfucker is a force to be reckoned with. That’s all I’m going to say about him today. He’s also the reason why I picked “crazy babies” for this week’s meme. You MUST go see “Looper” starring Joseph Gordon-Levitt and Bruce Willis, while it’s in theaters!

High-five for the "Looper" mention! Can't wait to see this film.
Here are my five top choices for bad/evil kids in movies:
- The Shining: The dead twin girls
- Children Of The Corn: All of 'em! ;-)
- The Exorcist: Split pea soup, anyone?
- The Omen: I'd never name my kid Damien
- The Ring: When a kid comes out of the TV, it's time to run!
What about those crazy ass kids in The Hunger Games. It seemed so natural for the blond kid to break that other kids neck. Disturbing. Was the book that violent?
@ Sydney. Yeah, the book showed the kids as that violent.
So I wonder if The Good Son starring McCauley Culkin would fit this meme? He was something else in that movie.

Looper and Resident Evil aren't horror movies but Pet Sematary is. Honestly, none of them are that scary except for...well...Pet Sematary, lol. Of course, that depends on what it takes to scare you. For some people, it's as simple as some spooky music and a frightening closeup shot of the characters in the movie while for other people, it will take a whole lot of tricks, twists and turns to make them want to look away from the big screen. If anything, I'd recommend Looper. The other two are rentals, for sure!

Stop right there buddy! I thought your comment posted (I swear I read it the other day...but it was in my email, not on the blog...I must stop assuming all comments are posted automatically) the other day. I found it on the backend and just placed it in the right section. My apologies for the snafu. The friend who I went to see Looper with actually mentioned Children of the Corn while we were in the theater. You and Karin MUST see that movie, man! Yeah, I mean, like this upcoming weekend, if not tomorrow! I think you two will enjoy it :)
You had me giggling with what you wrote about The Ring. Nowadays, a kid coming out of the TV is no longer a cause for concern...it's just really good 3D. Heh!

Yep, The Hunger Games was nuts and turned a lot of well-meaning, good mannered children into cold-blooded killers. I didn't read the book tho but I imagine and have heard that the violence depicted in the film adaptation is small potatoes compared to what happens in the book.

The McCauley Culkin that people knew from Home Alone was unrecognizable in The Good Son. It's like he did a complete 180 as far as the type of role he played goes. He was a little monster in The Good Son. As if parenting isn't difficult enough...here comes the angry, manipulative, brutal child that no parent would with on their worse enemy.
